BIO
Raised in California and now based in France, Kristen Mann has been making music with the band Sapphica for a number of years and now has refocused her enormous talents on a very personal solo career. Growing up listening to Prince, The Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty and a whole host of others, she explores her raw emotions through song with an undeniable sensitivity and simple sophistication.
Echoes of Massive Attack’s early albums, Coldplay and Maggie Rogers applied with the cinematic drama of sweeping strings, underpin her warm soulful and soaring vocals. Kristen touches your heart in every way imaginable as she expresses the sentimental ideas of loves lost and a life well-lived with the tenderness of an artist at the top of her game.
With a whole swag of songs about to be released, it is her debut single ‘Prevail’ which sets the standard for what is to follow. Tugging at the heart strings with a melodic intro, her sublime vocals pull you in with a gentle embrace that are supported by warm drums and an enticing bassline that gives strength to those that have endured the sadness of a break up.
